Mill Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate milling equipment at optimum levels to ensure designated quality and extraction levels
• Monitor regrind system and collaborate with packaging personnel to maintain efficiency
• Maintain Master Sanitation Schedule and HACCP documentation
• Perform duties of the Grain Receiver/Loader position on an as-needed basis
• Proactively identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• Ability to complete the IAOM Milling Science correspondence course within one year of starting the role
• Ability to work in dusty, high heat, and high humidity environments
• Physical ability to lift, carry, climb, crouch, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to wear a respirator as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with wheat milling experience
• Mechanical ability to operate and maintain milling equipment
• Excellent written and verbal communication and computer skills
