Mill Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate mill equipment during the second shift while maintaining quality standards
• Read and follow established standards for knife use and equipment set points
• Verify and maintain quality standards throughout the production process
• Provide coverage for other Mill Crew Utility members during breaks
• Maintain housekeeping around the mill floor according to SOPs
• Adhere to all safety regulations, including awareness of forklift visibility

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Mechanical aptitude relevant to assigned work areas
• Ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a noisy environment and handle exposure to carbon black dust

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing experience
