Milk Receiver

Responsibilities

• Inspect bulk tankers and safely hook up trucks to off-load dairy products.
• Collect raw dairy samples and perform sensory evaluations and physical testing (visual, odor, flavor, antibiotic, oil, and fat).
• Pump raw dairy product into specified bulk tanks and perform cleaning/CIP/SIP operations.
• Accurately complete dairy records, system data entry, and documentation.
• Operate lift trucks safely and perform routine equipment adjustments.
• Follow all established GMPs, Food Safety requirements, and occupational health and safety procedures.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain good housekeeping.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong math skills and good attendance.
• Demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing (dairy experience preferred).
• Working understanding of food manufacturing acronyms such as SQF, HACCP, and GMP.
• Ability to lift up to 50-lbs frequently throughout the shift.
• Strong technical skills to operate equipment controls and touch panels.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with changing temperatures and noise.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced quality/food safety training or certifications.
• Existing lift truck (Powered Industrial Truck) certification.
• Valid sampler/weighed certification.
