Military Acquisitions Action Officer, Senior

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional expertise on service strategy, policy, planning, and operations to the USCYBERCOM Acquisition and Technology directorate
• Conduct document reviews, analyze issues, and coordinate with leadership for policy, legislation, and decision memoranda
• Collaborate across the organization to ensure timely responses to internal tasks and requests for information
• Plan, monitor, and coordinate response schedules and actions using internal Task Management Systems
• Draft and coordinate point papers to facilitate coordinated responses with internal and external stakeholders
• Engage regularly with Government leadership at the Division Chief and Director level to ensure accuracy regarding J9 posture
• Assist Government leadership in implementing Command initiatives and developing concepts of operation and doctrine related to cyber operations

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Acquisition, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in military acquisitions, program management, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, regulations, and best practices
• Experience supporting senior military or government leadership in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Knowledge Management skills and abilities
• Experience in cyber operations or supporting cyber-related acquisition programs
• Familiarity with USCC or similar DoD organizations
