Migration & Modernization Technical BD

Responsibilities

• Drive customer and partner engagement for migrating and modernizing existing workloads to AWS within the US Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) sector.
• Meet regularly with customer application owners and development teams to identify blockers and develop migration plans, including AI-driven transformation pathways.
• Develop compelling business cases and proposals that articulate the value of migration and modernization, including AI use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional AWS field teams, including sales, solutions architecture, and professional services, to drive consistent customer outcomes.
• Build and develop mechanisms to automate and scale migration and modernization business using AI and agentic tools.
• Conduct customer briefings and present at industry events to drive AWS thought leadership in IT transformation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
• 6+ years of experience with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies (e.g., Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations).
• 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles leading large-scale transformation programs or extensive customer engagements.
• 3 years of experience developing, implementing, and executing field programs.
• Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.
• US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS GenAI Practitioner certification or willingness to obtain.
• 10+ years of experience in technology transformation, specifically in cloud-led leadership roles.
• Experience working with Public Sector organizations (Government, Education, Non-Profit, or Healthcare).
• Strong understanding of security, mandates, and compliance for government customers in multi-tenant environments.
• Master's degree or MBA in a relevant field such as Engineering, IT, or Business Economics.
