Migration & Modernization Tech BDM

Responsibilities

• Drive customer and partner engagement for migrating and modernizing existing workloads to AWS within the US Federal sector.
• Help customers unlock new capabilities through 1-Step AI Modernization and AI-driven workload transformation.
• Develop large-scale cloud migration and modernization engagements, including AI modernization use cases.
• Identify use cases, patterns, and best practices to develop scalable go-to-market motions with partners and field teams.
• Meet with customer application owners and development teams to identify blockers and develop migration plans.
• Build and develop mechanisms to automate and scale migration and modernization business using AI and agentic tools.
• Conduct customer briefings and present at industry events to drive AWS thought leadership.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration technologies (e.g., Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, or Cloud Operations).
• 5+ years of experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting.
• 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles leading large-scale transformation programs or extensive customer engagements.
• 3 years of experience developing, implementing, managing, and executing field programs.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to various business and technical audiences.
• US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Analytics, IT, or an MBA.
• 10+ years of experience in technology transformation, specifically in cloud-led leadership roles.
• Experience working with Public Sector organizations (Government, Education, Non-Profit, or Healthcare).
• Strong understanding of Mandates, Security, Standards, and Compliance for government customers.
• AWS GenAI Practitioner certification or willingness to obtain.
