Midwife Sonographer

Responsibilities

• Perform obstetric ultrasound scans using state-of-the-art equipment
• Assess fetal development, monitor pregnancies, and detect abnormalities
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret scan results
• Maintain accurate records while ensuring patient confidentiality
• Provide compassionate care and excellent communication to patients during the scanning process

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent
• Experience in abdomen and pelvic scans
• Proficiency in using ultrasound machines and associated software
• HCPC registration
• 1 year of UK experience as a Sonographer in the NHS and private sector
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
