Midweight Graphic Designer

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise, develop, and execute innovative visual designs for a variety of marketing materials including print collateral, digital assets, social media graphics, web banners, infographics, and presentations.
• Support a portfolio of UK events by creating engaging, high-quality visual content.
• Ensure consistency in visual identity and adherence to brand guidelines across all design deliverables.
• Manage multiple design projects concurrently, adhering to timelines, milestones, and shifting priorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate ideas into compelling design work.
• Organise and maintain digital assets, including images, fonts, and design files, ensuring they are appropriately archived.
• Provide occasional ad-hoc support and presence at events.

Requirements

• BA in graphic design, new media, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience (in-house or agency) producing high-quality graphic content for web and social media.
• A strong design portfolio demonstrating expertise in typography and layout design.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat).
• Excellent knowledge of Canva.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and project management platforms such as Monday and Jira.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within the events industry.
