About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on rotating equipment including gas compressors, pumps, IC engines, gear boxes, and electric motors.
  • Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance per established schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and inspect equipment for vibration, leaks, unusual noise, or corrosion.
  • Execute alignment activities on pumps and compressors and perform overhauls per manufacturer recommendations.
  • Complete vibration monitoring, lubrication sampling, and reporting to reliability program contacts.
  • Maintain accurate work order history in SAP, including all relevant as-found and as-left data.
  • Execute safe work practices, including energy isolation, permit to work, and proper tool selection.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Proven experience performing millwright functions (inspection, repair, troubleshoot, and overhaul) on gas compressors, pumps, engines, and valves.
  • Proficiency with precision machinist tools and ability to operate motorized equipment such as forklifts or bridge cranes.
  • Strong SAP skills for managing work orders and searching for materials.
  • Ability to work overtime and participate in rotating call-outs.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions at North Dakota operations locations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of mechanical experience specifically with reciprocating/centrifugal gas compressors and internal combustion engines.
  • Industrial or oilfield experience.
  • Associate's or technical degree.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and interpersonal communication skills.
