About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems including gas compressors, pumps, IC engines, gear boxes, and electric motors.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance per established schedules.
  • Inspect equipment for vibration damage, leaks, unusual noise, excessive wear, and corrosion.
  • Complete alignment activities on pumps and compressors and replace mechanical seals, packing, and bearings.
  • Conduct vibration monitoring and lubrication sampling/analysis.
  • Execute safe work practices, including energy isolation and permit to work procedures.
  • Document work order history and provide feedback to maintenance planning and supply chain teams.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Proven experience performing millwright functions (inspection, repair, overhaul, and maintenance of rotating equipment).
  • Proficiency with precision machinist tools.
  • Strong SAP skills for managing work orders and searching materials.
  • Ability to work overtime and participate in rotating call-outs.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions in North Dakota operations locations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of mechanical experience with reciprocating/centrifugal gas compressors and internal combustion engines.
  • Industrial or Oilfield experience.
  • Associate's or technical degree.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience operating a forklift, bridge crane, or JLG.
