Founded in 2021 in NYC, dub is building the first social investing marketplace by providing a simple way to share, reward, and invest alongside the best portfolios and minds in asset management. dub’s innovative copy-trading platform gives fund managers, financial experts, and regular investors a simple way to make their investment wisdom actionable for regular individuals and distribute it.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop the foundational web application framework using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS
- Make critical decisions regarding package management, bundling strategies, application architecture, and CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure high standards of code quality, maintainability, and performance through best practices and code reviews
- Collaborate with the CEO and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Build scalable, efficient, and robust systems to support rapid growth
- Mentor and guide new frontend developers as the team grows
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development
- Proven experience with React, Next.js (or similar), and Tailwind CSS (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- Proficiency in state management libraries like Redux or Zustand
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices
- Familiarity with package management and module bundlers such as npm, Yarn, Webpack, or Vite
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building web applications from scratch in a startup or high-growth environment
- Experience with Flutter and Dart
- Experience using AI tools like Cursor, V0, or GitHub Copilot
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud services
- Experience in the brokerage or financial services industry
