About the role
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day administration of enterprise application environments across production and non-production systems
- Monitor system, application, middleware, and interface availability, performance, and operational health
- Troubleshoot connectivity, access, performance, and application availability issues
- Assist with patching, version updates, vulnerability remediation, and post-change validation
- Coordinate with infrastructure teams, database administrators, developers, and security personnel to resolve issues
- Develop or maintain scripts, automation, monitoring checks, and repeatable operational procedures
- Maintain system documentation, including environment details, operational procedures, and configuration notes
- Follow federal security, configuration management, and access control requirements
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure support, or middleware support
- Experience supporting production or mission-critical application environments
- Experience with web, application, or middleware technologies such as Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, WebLogic, IIS, or NGINX
- Experience working with Linux, Unix, Windows Server, or mixed operating system environments
- Proficiency in scripting, automation, and networking troubleshooting
- US Citizenship eligibility to obtain security clearance
