Middleware Operations Consultant

Responsibilities

• Manage middleware platform resources to ensure service availability and compliance with bank standards and SLAs.
• Provide production support, including incident management and root cause analysis.
• Administer middleware infrastructure for both production and non-production environments.
• Monitor infrastructure using appropriate tools and procedures to maintain agreed-upon service levels.
• Implement and consolidate infrastructure standards for various entities and projects within GTEP.
• Participate in software currency, fixes, patching, and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs) to keep infrastructure updated.
• Assist in technical committees (OR/ARB/Change) to validate proposed solutions and drive continuous improvement.
• Monitor and support services provided by commercial partners to ensure SLA compliance.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in middleware operations support roles.
• Proven experience working within the financial services industry.
• Experience participating in complex application and design projects, including developing detailed work plans and tracking progress.
