About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert for EDI and Middleware, collaborating with the EDI Product Owner on vision and strategy
- Take end-to-end ownership of the EDI project lifecycle, including scoping, design, build, testing, deployment, and documentation
- Manage project timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications for assigned integration workstreams
- Design scalable, robust, efficient, and secure platforms in accordance with relevant principles and standards
- Engage with trading partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to manage EDI onboarding, change requests, and escalations
- Collaborate with Tech and business teams to define integration requirements and ensure alignment with business goals
Requirements
- Proven experience in middleware engineering with a focus on EDI implementation, operation, and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of EDI standards and protocols, including EDIFACT, XML, and AS2
- Familiarity with web services, APIs, and security protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and JWT
- Understanding of cloud architecture, network virtualization, cloud security, and automation
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub
- Proficiency with tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Git
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
