Middleware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core platform services in C++, focusing on multi-threading, concurrency, and performance.
• Develop and extend communication middleware using protocols such as SOME/IP or DDS.
• Work on system-level software within a software-defined vehicle (SDV) architecture, including Communication, Execution, and Health Management.
• Apply networking and Ethernet stack knowledge to ensure reliable, high-throughput data exchange.
• Support data logging and recording workflows for sensor data used in ADAS development and validation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Solid C++ skills, including familiarity with multi-threading and concurrency patterns.
• Exposure to communication middleware (e.g., SOME/IP, DDS) or a strong desire to learn.
• Initiative to take technical ownership in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AUTOSAR Adaptive internals or specific functional clusters.
• Background in embedded systems, automotive, robotics, or distributed systems.
• Experience with C programming or advanced IPC using Protobuf or gRPC.
• Strong familiarity with POSIX/Linux (system calls, memory management).
• Experience in real-time or safety-critical distributed systems.
