Middleware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core platform services in C++, focusing on multi-threading, concurrency, and performance
• Develop and extend communication middleware using protocols such as SOME/IP or DDS
• Work on system-level software within an SDV architecture, including Communication, Execution, State, Health, and Diagnostics management
• Apply networking and Ethernet stack knowledge to ensure reliable, high-throughput data exchange
• Support data logging and recording workflows for sensor data used in ADAS development

Requirements

• Solid C++ skills with familiarity in multi-threading and concurrency patterns
• 2+ years of software engineering experience
• Background in embedded, automotive, robotics, or distributed systems is a plus
• Exposure to communication middleware (SOME/IP, DDS) or strong desire to learn
• Initiative to take ownership in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AUTOSAR Adaptive internals
• Experience with embedded systems or C programming
• Advanced IPC experience using Protobuf or gRPC
• Strong familiarity with POSIX/Linux (system calls, memory management)
• Experience in real-time or safety-critical distributed systems
• Familiarity with data logging frameworks in an automotive or ADAS context
