About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and implement new middleware components such as JBoss, WebSphere, Tomcat, F5 (BIG-IP), Webseal/ISAM, IIS, and Apache
- Collaborate with Development teams to resolve application and usability issues
- Document installation and configuration procedures for maintenance and repetition
- Implement complex security integrations utilizing MSSL, mutual authentication, and hardware/software certificates
- Participate in environment shakedown testing and troubleshooting efforts
- Manage project handover to the Web operations team with necessary documentation
Requirements
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Internet Architecture
- 5 to 7 years of experience with JBoss or WebSphere
- 5 to 7 years of experience with Apache
- Intermediate knowledge of load balancers and web application firewalls
- Intermediate knowledge of network and operating system principles
- Experience with automation
- Ability to work 3rd shift (12AM - 8AM)
