Middle School Teacher

Responsibilities

• Teach in mixed-age middle school classes (5th - 6th grade) within a full-day school framework
• Instruct subjects such as Mathematics, English, or German
• Collaborate closely within a pedagogical team consisting of class teachers, subject teachers, and secondary pedagogical staff

Requirements

• Teaching qualification for Haupt-/Mittel-/Realschulen or Gymnasium with 1st or 2nd State Examination
• Montessori Diploma (ÖMG, DMG) or willingness to acquire it alongside work in the near future
• Appreciative and clear approach to guiding children toward independence
• High level of commitment, teamwork, reliability, and resilience
• Readiness for integrative work and enjoyment of heterogeneous learning groups
• Valid extended certificate of good conduct (erweitertes Führungszeugnis)

About the Company

MONTESSORI Förderkreis Nürnberg e. V. operates a state-approved Montessori primary and middle school, as well as a Montessori children's house. We support over 550 children and adolescents aged 1 to 17 based on the principles of Maria Montessori pedagogy.
