Middle School Special Education Teacher

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver IB-aligned instruction in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies to diverse middle school learners
• Provide specialized instruction and behavioral support to students with IEPs and Tier 3 needs
• Write, deliver, and monitor IEPs while conducting special education meetings and case management
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school leadership
• Teach an advisory class and maintain proactive communication with students and families
• Integrate technology and 1:1 Chromebooks into daily instruction

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in secondary education or the content area
• Previous teaching experience in the content area or special education
• Familiarity with G-Suite tools and instructional technology platforms
• Experience with IB MYP/DP and language immersion environments
