Middle School Inclusive Learning Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver content and instruction alongside a co-teacher to all students in the class
• Collaborate with grade and instructional leadership teams to internalize and develop curriculum
• Track and measure student progress, including managing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Create a positive classroom and school culture through restorative practices
• Set ambitious instructional goals and establish purposeful classroom routines
• Model core organizational values for students

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in relevant educational positions
• Bachelor's Degree or higher
• New York State teaching certification for Students With Disabilities (required)
• Demonstrated success in raising achievement levels for at-risk students
• Commitment to continuous professional development

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish (speaking, writing, and understanding)
• Experience working with diverse student populations
