Middle Office Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day management of the Transaction Management Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) team
• Drive transaction management, settlement, and excellence through proactive management of the trade lifecycle
• Act as a primary contact point for internal and external clients, ensuring effective service delivery and client sentiment
• Support and build a strong risk management and control environment
• Manage and develop the team, including training, coaching, and providing performance reviews
• Communicate effectively with clients, custodians, brokers, and managers to resolve issues and inquiries
• Ensure all daily and monthly services are delivered in accordance with client Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Assist with compliance reviews, controls, and audits

Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry
• Strong knowledge of Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) trade lifecycle, including trade confirmation, processing, and reconciliation
• Degree in finance, business, or an equivalent field
• Proven experience in client communication and interaction at multiple levels
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong English written and spoken communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts (US hours)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other low-code technology solutions
• Experience with organizational change management principles and tools
• Understanding of key technologies used to support investment management operations
