Middle Office Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a global team of middle office analysts and senior associates
• Own day-to-day middle office functions including trade lifecycle, settlements, reconciliations, and exception management via the Aladdin platform
• Implement and monitor risk mitigation controls, leading risk reviews, incident logs, and root cause analysis (RCA)
• Act as the primary audit lead for internal, statutory, and regulatory audits, ensuring full compliance and timely remediation of findings
• Serve as the key operational point of contact for clients, managing daily BAU, incident management, and SLA adherence
• Identify and execute opportunities for automation and digitization, collaborating with IT to implement tools like RPA bots
• Manage stakeholder relationships across Front Office, Risk, Compliance, Fund Accounting, Custodians, and Brokers

Requirements

• Degree in finance, business, technology, or equivalent relevant industry experience
• Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle management, reconciliations, and settlements
• In-depth understanding of the asset management industry
• Proven experience in risk and control frameworks, audit handling, and process transformation
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel/VBA and familiarity with data tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on working knowledge of the Aladdin platform
• Experience leveraging technology solutions including low-code tools and RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism)
• Experience with Alteryx or similar data automation tools
