Middle Office - Emerging Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transactional responsibilities including trade confirmation, settlement, and reporting
• Act as a primary contact point for internal and external clients, custodians, and brokers
• Ensure all daily and monthly services are delivered in accordance with client SLAs
• Process directed lending instructions, wire transfers, and trade exceptions
• Analyze problems, evaluate information, and reach sound conclusions to resolve client inquiries
• Participate in semi-annual broker review meetings and facilitate new market initiatives
• Contribute to team initiatives regarding audit and risk management

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate degree (BS/BA degree preferred)
• 2-4 years of prior business experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience within the investment management industry
• Strong understanding of Investment Manager Operations and key deliverables
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize work under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Good understanding of State Street operations, including technical systems, policies, and procedures
• Proven ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner
