Middle Office Associate (Operations)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to the financial futures and equity derivatives front office and clients.
• Manage daily BAU activities including reconciling trade positions, managing trade lifecycles, and sending trade confirmations.
• Ensure all trades are reported correctly to meet FCA, NFA, SEC, FINRA, and CFTC regulatory frameworks.
• Perform trade allocations across various futures markets including LIFFE, EUREX, CME, CBOT, and major Asian markets.
• Validate daily volumes and P&L on behalf of the broker team.
• Contribute to the establishment of new controls and the automation of existing reconciliation tools and processes.
• Partner closely with finance, treasury, risk, audit, and compliance departments.
• Maintain detailed operating procedures and assist in training new team members to ensure business continuity.
• Onboard new voice and electronic (DMA) execution clients and assist with the setup of new brokers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a middle office or operations role within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of trade flow and processes specifically for financial futures middle office.
• Knowledge of risk and compliance requirements within a regulated environment.
• Proficiency with the ATEO/TT suite of products (TEO, LISA).
• Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
