Mid Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement secure, end-to-end Kubernetes or Docker-based cluster and application lifecycles.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with a focus on security, automation, and GitOps principles.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to architect containerized solutions and cloud-native applications.
• Implement DevSecOps best practices to ensure security is integrated at every stage of the development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate security checks and routine DevOps tasks.
• Leverage AWS cloud services to ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.
• Maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and assist in implementing Service Mesh solutions like Istio.

Requirements

• Secret Security Clearance or above.
• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10 years of progressive related experience in software development.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes or Docker.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and version control systems like GitLab.
• Strong understanding of Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing custom Helm Charts.
• Knowledge of Service Mesh technologies such as Istio.
• Experience with database development (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB).
• Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with Vue.js or Angular.
