Mid Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement secure, end-to-end Kubernetes or Docker-based cluster and application lifecycles.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and ArgoCD with a focus on security and automation.
• Apply GitOps principles and DevSecOps best practices to ensure reliable, automated software delivery.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell to streamline DevOps tasks.
• Collaborate with internal teams to architect cloud-native applications and containerized solutions within AWS environments.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and maintain system reliability through effective log management and analytics.
• Work across multiple technology stacks including Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, and GoLang.

Requirements

• Secret Security Clearance or above.
• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10 years of progressive related software development experience.
• Advanced experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker.
• Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and version control systems.
• Experience working within Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience writing custom Helm Charts.
• Knowledge of Service Mesh solutions such as Istio.
• Experience with database development (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools like Ansible, Maven, or Gradle.
• Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
