About the role
Responsibilities
- Position, negotiate, and close new logo opportunities within the APAC territory ($50-$500K ACV)
- Drive the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to close, meeting quarterly and annual sales goals
- Develop account strategies and pipelines through deep industry research and qualifying net new targets
- Conduct value-based selling by aligning Contentful's ROI with the digital experience challenges of prospects
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Solution Architects, and Business Development Representatives to uncover technical opportunities
- Manage RFI/RFQ requests and develop innovative proposals with complex pricing structures
- Build and maintain multi-threaded relationships with key decision-makers, including VP and C-level executives
Requirements
- 4+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including at least 2 years in a closing role with a history of exceeding quota
- 3+ years of experience selling to the Mid-Market segment or managing technical platform solutions
- Proven ability to manage transactions of $100k+ and engage with executive-level stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with MEDDPICC qualification and Value Selling methodologies
- Strong "hunter" mentality with a track record of generating net new pipeline
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for presenting complex technical solutions
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Martech industry
- Experience working closely with Partnerships to drive business growth
- Ability to understand APIs and discuss technical outcomes with highly technical stakeholders
- College degree
