About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and procure production tools and consumables to support manufacturing
- Manage certified tools and tool-room processes, including ordering, replacement, inventory control, and re-certification
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to optimize manufacturing support and supply chain responsiveness
- Analyze usage and forecast demand
- Assess manufacturing requirements and verify customer requests
- Coordinate with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues
- Provide guidance and improvement suggestions to outside suppliers and analysts
- Oversee procurement processes for manufacturing tool services, products, and services
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience assessing manufacturing requirements and verifying customer requests
- 3+ years of experience coordinating with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues
- 3+ years of experience providing guidance and improvement suggestions to outside suppliers
- 3+ years of experience gathering manufacturing and product data to develop solutions
- 3+ years of experience analyzing and overseeing procurement processes for manufacturing tools and services
- 3+ years of experience with procurement and inventory management systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in certified-tool management and tool-room operations, including inventory control and recertification
- Proven track record as a collaborative problem-solver partnering with Manufacturing, Operations, and suppliers
