Mid-Level Systems Administrator

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, secure, and maintain dedicated Program Information Technology Infrastructure for Air Dominance programs.
• Provide support for Windows Operating Systems (Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022-2025) and VMware ESX environments.
• Perform hardware installation, modification, testing, and troubleshooting for switches, routers, and server racks.
• Design, develop, and implement secure Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS) solutions.
• Support security audits and maintain compliance with government and corporate security plans in closed network environments.
• Manage computing inventory tracking, shipping, and documentation of computer applications.
• Protect classified and proprietary information while providing comprehensive computing support.

Requirements

• Active CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent meeting DoD Directive 8570.01).
• 3+ years of experience administering Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems.
• 3+ years of experience with VMware Virtualization.
• 3+ years of experience in hardware installation, modification, and testing.
• 3+ years of experience with Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS).
• 3+ years of experience with IT hardware support including switches, routers, and server equipment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Unix/Linux (RHEL/Oracle) server and workstation administration.
• Experience using scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems.
• Experience integrating security solutions such as McAfee, Splunk, or HBSS.
• Experience with Netbackup or Networker.
• Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or Agile Methodologies.
