Mid-Level Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for new structures and existing structural upgrades
• Act as project lead engineer for small to large projects, managing quality, budget, and schedule
• Establish project scope, structural budgets, and design approaches
• Design structural systems and components for commercial and industrial facilities
• Perform structural analysis, detailing, and technical report writing
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines
• Conduct site visits to collect data and observe construction progress
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and marketing materials

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Structural Engineering
• Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, and timber design
• Familiarity with industry codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
• Proficiency in engineering software such as Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, RISA 3D, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• PE license preferred, or ability to obtain within one year of employment
