Mid-Level Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform as project lead engineer for small and large projects, managing quality, budget, and schedule
• Establish project scope, structural budgets, and design approaches
• Design structural systems and components for commercial and industrial facilities
• Ensure designs conform to recognized codes, standards, and client requirements
• Collaborate with mechanical, process, electrical, architectural, and civil disciplines
• Conduct site visits to collect data and observe construction progress
• Prepare proposals and marketing materials by defining project scope

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Structural Engineering
• Knowledge of steel, concrete, and timber design
• Familiarity with codes such as IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
• Proficiency in Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, RISA 3D, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within one year

• Experience with the latest engineering analysis software and techniques
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
• Strong leadership and client relationship management skills
