Mid-Level Software Engineer (Test & Verification)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and complete test and verification of software products to ensure quality and reliability
• Partner with stakeholders to identify software requirements, test objectives, and test strategies
• Design test plans, cases, and scenarios to meet software specifications
• Set up and configure test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations
• Execute test cases to verify functionality, performance, and safety, while identifying and reporting defects
• Create and maintain test plans, procedures, artifacts, and metrics in accordance with security protocols
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency
• Perform software project management functions across multifunctional teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline or 9+ years of equivalent related experience
• Experience developing STR, STD, SUM, test requirements, test cases, and test procedures
• Programming experience with Ada, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python
• U.S. Person status required (U.S. Citizen, National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
• Ability to develop and use both manual and automated test procedures
• Experience performing analysis on test results
• Experience overseeing activities in DOORS
