About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and complete test and verification of software products to ensure quality and reliability
- Partner with stakeholders to identify software requirements, test objectives, and test strategies
- Design test plans, cases, and scenarios to meet software specifications
- Set up and configure test environments, including hardware, software, and network configurations
- Execute test cases to verify functionality, performance, and safety, while identifying and reporting defects
- Create and maintain test plans, procedures, artifacts, and metrics in accordance with security protocols
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency
- Perform software project management functions across multifunctional teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline or 9+ years of equivalent related experience
- Experience developing STR, STD, SUM, test requirements, test cases, and test procedures
- Programming experience with Ada, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python
- U.S. Person status required (U.S. Citizen, National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
- Ability to develop and use both manual and automated test procedures
- Experience performing analysis on test results
- Experience overseeing activities in DOORS
