Mid-level Lawyer - Pricing (Judicial Recovery & Bankruptcy)

Responsibilities

• Structure legal theses in special situations such as judicial recovery, bankruptcy, and stressed credits
• Perform in-depth legal analysis of bankruptcy and recovery processes to determine success probability and risks
• Define legal scenarios and map strategic judicial and extrajudicial alternatives to support asset pricing
• Interact with external law firms to validate and deepen legal theses
• Interface with different areas of the BTG Pactual Group to contribute legal vision to investment structuring
• Prepare technical memorandums and materials to support investment decision-making
• Present and defend legal theses in Investment Committees

Requirements

• Degree in Law
• Relevant experience in judicial recovery and bankruptcy processes
• Solid knowledge of Bankruptcy Law and Civil Procedural Law
• Experience in credit recovery, preferably with stressed credits
• Strong analytical capacity for legal process evaluation with a business mindset
• Ability to work in dynamic, decision-oriented environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting to executive committees
