Mid-Level Industrial Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• Administer and implement US Industrial Security Standards, including NISPOM, SCI, and SAP, to ensure programmatic security compliance.
• Conduct internal security control assessments, compliance reviews, and self-inspections for facilities and aircraft.
• Identify security deficiencies and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Perform administrative inquiries regarding personnel and processes to determine the scope of non-compliance.
• Assist with Communication Security (COMSEC) duties in accordance with government regulations.
• Develop and implement operational security programs, including security education and physical controls.
• Conduct security awareness training, briefings, and bulletins to educate personnel.
• Execute physical security duties, such as facility checklists and reviewing drawings for classified areas.

Requirements

• Active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).
• Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5) within the last 5 years, or currently enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program.
• 3+ years of experience working in NISP, SAP, and/or SCI domains.
• Proven experience in Industrial Security.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience.
• Experience working as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO).
