Mid-Level Civil/Environmental Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support and lead stormwater-related projects, including hydrologic and hydraulic evaluations of runoff.
• Design stormwater treatment facilities, pump stations, conveyance infrastructure, and infiltration systems.
• Prepare grading and site improvement plan sets for permitting and construction.
• Develop technical documents such as proposals, SWPPPs, ERA Reports, and WQBCA Reports.
• Conduct industrial and construction site assessments and engineering feasibility analyses.
• Develop and recommend stormwater best management practices (BMPs) to reduce pollutants.
• Apply remedial technologies through engineering design, permitting, and construction oversight.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and analytical laboratories.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is required.
• 5 to 12 years of relevant professional work experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
• Ability to travel domestically (up to 25%) to perform fieldwork.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Deep understanding of stormwater/wastewater regulations and permit requirements.
