Microwave & Sensor Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead technology development and project management for advanced microwave and sensor systems supporting U.S. national security programs.
• Employ a system-level approach to plan and execute technology development, testing, and integration against customer requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists to address technical challenges and ensure mission success.
• Build and cultivate partnerships across multiple U.S. government agencies to enhance mission objectives.
• Assemble technical teams to tackle emerging problems and respond to dynamic partner requests.
• Communicate technical results and trade-offs effectively to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Advise management on project opportunities, risks, and potential trade studies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline.
• Five (5) years of directly relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Active DOE Q-level and SCI security clearance (or equivalent, such as DOD Top Secret/SCI).
• Ability to work onsite in Albuquerque, NM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or a highly related field.
• Laboratory skills and hands-on knowledge of RF and digital test equipment.
• Knowledge of RF, Digital Communications, Electronic Warfare, and Cyber Security systems and principles.
• Experience working with U.S. government customers within the defense and intelligence communities.
• Proven ability to lead programs and teams through ambiguous or fluid customer requirements.
