Microsoft Power BI Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights
• Connect to various data sources, perform data modeling, and ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and deliver tailored reporting solutions
• Optimize data models and queries for best performance
• Train and support end-users in utilizing Power BI tools effectively
• Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field
• Proven experience with Microsoft Power BI including dashboard development, data modeling, and DAX expressions
• Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and best practices
• Experience working with various data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, and cloud services
• Ability to analyze complex datasets and produce clear, concise reports
• Excellent communication skills to gather business requirements and convey technical information
• Familiarity with Power Query, M language, and Power BI Service

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Power BI certification (e.g., DA-100 or PL-300)
• Experience with other Microsoft Power Platform tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
