Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of a scalable, cloud-native data platform on Microsoft Azure.
• Design and implement automated data pipelines integrating multiple enterprise systems including SAP BW, SAP HANA, Labware, ELN, and Salesforce.
• Develop efficient dimensional and relational data models across diverse domains such as Sales, HR, Finance, and Operations.
• Build robust, containerized, and automated pipelines using Azure Functions, Docker Containers, MS Fabric, and Kafka.
• Implement strong data governance frameworks, ensuring data lineage, security, and access control.
• Deliver clean, structured, and enriched datasets to enable BI and AI/ML-driven insights.
• Prepare technical documentation and architecture diagrams to ensure long-term scalability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric (MS Fabric).
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Functions and Docker Containers.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Data Modeling (Dimensional & Relational).
• Proficiency with CI/CD processes and GitHub.
• Experience integrating with SAP BW or SAP HANA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with SAP DataSphere and SAP ERP data structures.
• Proven experience in cloud-native data architectures and real-time data processing.
• Ability to work independently to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
