Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of Azure solutions aligned with architecture patterns and standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and deployments.
• Support performance tuning, reliability improvements, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Assist in cloud modernization efforts using automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and modern deployment methodologies.
• Maintain documentation for architecture, configurations, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud adoption and project delivery.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in Azure/cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Experience supporting and implementing complex Cloud Migration and integration projects.
• Knowledge of SAP S4HANA migrations and integration technologies.
• Expertise in Azure DR, backup, networking, storage, and Azure Monitor.
• Proficiency with Azure PaaS/Serverless technologies including WebApps, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.
• Practical experience with Azure Authentication (AAD) and authorization protocols (RBAC, PBAC, and ABAC).
• Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, ARM Templates, Terraform, and Bash.
• Experience managing and optimizing Azure SQL and SQL Access Management.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to large-scale cloud migration or transformation projects.
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as SAP environments.
• Understanding of security, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
