Microsoft 365 Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute Exchange Online mailbox migrations from on-premises or tenant-to-tenant environments
• Plan and implement OneDrive for Business migrations ensuring data integrity
• Design and develop advanced PowerShell automation scripts with robust error handling and logging
• Leverage Microsoft Graph API for automation, reporting, and bulk operations
• Use Quest on Demand Migration (ODM) for tenant-to-tenant migration scenarios
• Perform pre-migration assessments, dependency analysis, and post-migration validation
• Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize performance for large-scale data transfers
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define migration strategy, timelines, and risk mitigation
• Maintain detailed documentation for scripts, processes, and migration activities
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies during migration

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in relevant roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Exchange Online migration
• Experience in OneDrive for Business migration
• Proficiency in Microsoft Graph API (MgGraph)
• Advanced expertise in PowerShell scripting including modular scripting and exception handling
• Hands-on experience with Quest ODM
• Good understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture and services
• Experience with identity systems such as Azure AD / Entra ID
• BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT), MCA, MBA (IT) or MSc(IT) degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SharePoint Online migration
• Understanding of compliance, security, and governance in Microsoft 365
• Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Azure Fundamentals
