About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage L2/L3 incident resolution, root cause analysis (RCA), and service health monitoring for the M365 suite.
- Administer M365 tenant configurations including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune.
- Oversee identity and access management using Entra ID (Azure AD), including Conditional Access and MFA.
- Implement and manage security and compliance controls via Microsoft Purview (DLP, retention, and eDiscovery) and Microsoft Defender.
- Support endpoint management through Intune, including device enrollment and compliance policies.
- Assist with mailbox, file, and Teams migrations and maintain operational documentation such as SOPs and runbooks.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration and support within an enterprise environment.
- Deep expertise in Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
- Proficiency in Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and identity governance.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview Compliance (DLP, retention, and audit logging).
- Strong PowerShell proficiency for managing M365 workloads.
- Mandatory Microsoft 365 role-based certification (e.g., Administrator Expert, Identity and Access Administrator, or Security Administrator).
- Educational background: BE, BTech, BCA, BSc, MCA, MBA, or MSc.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hybrid environments (Exchange Hybrid, Entra Connect).
- Exposure to Microsoft Defender XDR (Defender for Endpoint, Identity, or Cloud Apps).
- Knowledge of migration tools such as SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT), BitTitan, or Quest.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
