Microsoft 365 Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, and Entra ID
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide 2nd and 3rd level support
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• Implement and enforce security policies, compliance configurations, and data loss prevention strategies
• Plan and execute rollouts of new Microsoft 365 features and migrate data from legacy systems
• Create and maintain SOPs, documentation, guides, and checklists for support teams

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in a similar Microsoft 365 administration role
• 10 years of overall system administration or related experience
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
• Extensive experience with Intune, SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange Online
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD, and networking fundamentals
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications such as MS-100, MS-101, or MCSA: Office 365
