Microsoft 365 Data Security & Compliance Consultant

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy Microsoft Purview solutions including Information Protection, DLP, and Records Management
• Conduct discovery workshops with legal, privacy, and IT stakeholders to develop data governance designs
• Implement enterprise data classification frameworks using Sensitivity Labels and encryption
• Configure Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies across Microsoft 365 workloads and endpoints
• Deploy retention policies, legal holds, and data lifecycle management capabilities
• Configure Insider Risk Management, Communication Compliance, and eDiscovery solutions
• Own the complete deployment lifecycle from assessment through production deployment and operational handover
• Act as a trusted advisor to translate regulatory requirements into technical Microsoft Purview solutions

Requirements

• Expertise in designing and deploying Microsoft Purview solutions
• Experience with Microsoft Information Protection and Sensitivity Labels
• Proficiency in configuring Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Records Management
• Knowledge of Insider Risk Management, eDiscovery, and Audit solutions
• Ability to lead client discovery workshops and technical design sessions
• Experience managing the full deployment lifecycle of Microsoft 365 security solutions
