Microprocessor Silicon Validation and Optimization Engineer

Responsibilities

• Apply ASIC knowledge to assist in defining, modeling, designing, optimizing, verifying, validating, implementing, and documenting IP development for high-performance, low-power products.
• Assist in the creation of architectures, circuit specifications, logic designs, and system simulations based on system-level requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to develop implementation strategies that meet system requirements and customer needs.
• Support the evaluation of process flows from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, timing, and power use.
• Utilize industry tools and applications, such as RTL to GDS Flow and Virtuoso, to execute architecture and design tasks.
• Write technical documentation for EDA, IP, and ASIC projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of ASIC design and development.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey factual information effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 6+ months of experience with architecture and design tools.
• 6+ months of experience with scripting tools and programming languages.
• 6+ months of experience with design verification methods.
