Microinformatics Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 on-site technical support for office and industrial users, resolving hardware, software, and basic corporate service issues.
• Manage and troubleshoot user equipment including laptops, PCs, tablets, mobile devices, and peripherals (printers, scanners, monitors).
• Support industrial applications and specialized laboratory software.
• Maintain office infrastructure, including meeting rooms, videoconferencing, and audiovisual equipment.
• Manage basic connectivity issues involving WiFi, cabling, and VPN.
• Handle ticket management using ITSM tools and maintain accurate IT asset inventories.
• Apply security policies regarding antivirus, patches, and encryption.
• Document procedures, solutions, and operational guides.

Requirements

• Technical degree in IT, Microinformatics, Systems and Networks, or an equivalent qualification.
• 1-2 years of experience in technical support, helpdesk, or a similar role.
• Proficiency with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory and networking fundamentals (LAN, WiFi, IP, VPN).
• Experience using ITSM tools for ticket management.
• Ability to perform basic hardware diagnostics.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
