Microbulk Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Provide high-standard customer service during product deliveries, including unloading products and reloading empty cylinders
• Drive vehicles (approximately 30% of the day) and conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• Complete Hazardous Material shipping orders and placard vehicles in accordance with DOT/TC regulations
• Use handheld computers for customer transactions and follow computer-generated route and sequence delivery plans
• Interface with internal and external customers and operate various equipment to support shipping orders

Requirements

• High School GED and at least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A or B CDL
• Two (2) years of driving experience or completion of a truck driver training course with similar equipment
• Current medical examiner’s certificate or ability to pass a DOT physical
• Hazmat endorsement on CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past two (2) years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last ten (10) years
• Ability to read and write in English
