Microbulk Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Provide high-standard customer service during product deliveries, including unloading products and reloading empty cylinders
• Drive vehicles (approximately 30% of the day) and perform cylinder handling, shipping orders, and paperwork
• Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
• Complete Hazardous Material shipping orders in accordance with DOT/TC regulations
• Placard vehicles according to hazardous material regulations and company standards
• Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs or maintenance
• Use handheld computers for customer transactions and follow computer-generated route plans

Requirements

• High School GED and at least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A or B CDL
• 2 years of driving experience or completion of a truck driver training course with similar equipment
• Current medical examiner’s certificate or ability to pass a DOT physical
• Current Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire
• No preventable accidents, license suspensions, or moving violations in the past 2 years
• No alcohol-related convictions within the last 10 years
• Ability to read and write in English
