Microbiology Quality Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological sampling and analyses, including microbial contamination, enumeration, and sterility testing.
• Prepare culture media and necessary reagents for laboratory analyses.
• Ensure full traceability of results in compliance with GLP, GMP, and data integrity requirements.
• Utilize LIMS and analytical equipment software for laboratory management and data recording.
• Maintain analytical equipment and manage stocks of reagents and consumables.
• Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and HSE departments on quality initiatives.
• Identify malfunctions, analyze root causes, and propose corrective actions for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bac +3 degree in sciences.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar microbiology or quality control role.
• Mastery of GMP and ICH standards.
• Proficiency in LIMS and analytical equipment control software.
• Technical proficiency in English (both written and oral).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
