Microbiology Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform regular microbiological operational controls on production sites, filling plants, raw materials, and end products
• Apply classical microbiological methods including total germ count, yeasts, molds, and Enterobacteriaceae/coliform bacteria
• Conduct sterile laboratory work, sampling, preparation of culture media, sample incubation, and colony evaluation
• Record, evaluate, and professionally release analysis results in the LIMS
• Communicate analysis results to production, quality management, and technical departments
• Work within a 3-shift system including weekends

Requirements

• Completed training as BTA, CTA, Biology Laboratory Technician, Food Technology Specialist, Brewer and Maltster, or comparable laboratory-related training
• Experience in microbiological analysis of food, beverages, or water
• Knowledge of HACCP and IFS Food is an advantage
• Proficiency with LIMS systems and standard PC applications
• Reliable, structured, and team-oriented working style
• Ability to commute to the Warburg-Germete location
• German language proficiency (minimum B2-C1 level)
