Microbiology Laboratory Team Manager

Responsibilities

• Define and cascade service, team, and individual objectives
• Conduct employee performance evaluations
• Supervise and motivate the team to foster innovation and a positive social climate
• Support skill acquisition, polyvalence, and professional development
• Oversee the execution of sampling and microbiological analyses
• Approve microbiological analysis files for raw materials, bulk products, and finished products
• Write microbiological risk assessments and impact analyses following lab or production incidents
• Review and approve analytical method validation reports written in English
• Ensure all deviations or non-conformities are recorded and addressed
• Coordinate investigations following incidents within the sector
• Manage employee certifications and authorizations

Requirements

• Pharmacist or Engineer degree
• Proven management experience or strong managerial aptitude
• Solid knowledge of microbiology is indispensable
• English proficiency level B1/B2
• Knowledge of analytical and problem-solving techniques
• Strong writing skills and rigor regarding traceability
• Team spirit, autonomy, stress management, and reactivity
